what are your opinions on meeting internet friends? some people don't think it is safe, others use it as their main form of dating... what do you think?

well, since i want you to come down here.. i say go for it.. as long as you meet them publicly, or have a large amoutn of people with you.

I say that it depends....if you are female you should at least tell someone about the meeting spot etc....I have heard too many horror stories...especially if you are in high school or younger....my hubby wouldnt let me sell things online and have ppl come over with out him there! So i say that it just depends on Everything...hehe

i deffinately agree about letting someone know... no matter how old you are. i also think that meeting in a public place is a good idea and not going anywhere alone until you are comfortable... and finally, make sure to keep in contact with your real life contacts the whole time you are visiting. if they don't hear from you they will know something is up, as long as they are expecting a call.
