ok i go to a school where were soupse to be one big bunch of kids not a sergertaed group well in my grade we are mostly everyone not all hang out with the same o\color skined people and they dont yell rude remarks i just find it weird our school a magnet school who purposely brought our towns together to kill segagration and yet it happens at our school!!!

yeah pretty much but our school is soupse to stop that it is soupse to be a dirversified school when it really is very sergerated

people usually want to be with other people they can realate with... school lunchroom is a classic example...
strait A students sitting with other A students...
smokers sitting with other smokers...
non smokers sitting with other non smokers...
girls sitting with other girls...
blacks sitting with other blacks...
etc. etc....

My school had a similar problem. There was the "asian pride" and i have no problem with them being proud of it! but it is like a clan ad you cna't get in unless you are asian. My good friend is one of the few asians not in the clan...
they seriously know EVERY other asian in the state i swear!
But on the other hand i totally understand that they want to sit with people that speak their language, know their background and have similar family lives...
Unless there is fights between the groups it isn't really a big deal...

yes we have a gang in our school called the CWA Crackers With Attitude you must be whit to be in it and almost all the whit people in my grade are they are ver rasit and love seeing 2 african americans fighting and i dont see why

well, i personally think that the aliens are going to come and take over the world!!! ok hate is consumming our wourld and i dont know how long love can stand against the hate and win, i dont think it can be much longer with all the hate going arounde

Okay, I go to the same school and I have been to other high schools and I see it as the opposite... We are so much more intermixed!!!! I mean, at these other schools, they COMPLETELY seperate themselves... And I know we have our little issues in school and stuff, but compared to some other schools I have spent the day at, our school is SO much better... At lunch you see more of a mixture, and it isn't like the school has mostly whites, or mostly blacks, or mostly hispanics like some other schools... I went to one school where you saw the division between white, black, asian, and hispanic so CLEARLY it was scary... There was a table of asians, and you didn't see another asian anywhere in the room... And now I work at a camp where a lot of the time they treat me differently because it is a camp with mostly rich, white kids (it costs $410 a week to attend) and a lot of the kids and other counselors don't take me or a friend of mine, Justin, seriously because we aren't white... So Sam, I have to disagree, our school doesn't have REAL segregation...

i am not sating our school i am saying my grade and yes i know it is not as bad as other schools and i just find it funny that how hard our school trys to stop here in my grade it dosnt work and there is a gang (cwa) in our grade against the african americans and there are 2 tables filled with asian and only a few asian arnt at one of those two tables (in our grade) and the majority of the asain boys hate all the african americans (expect the ones i sit with justin, jonathan,mike) and i know alot of the asian boys (expect a few) are trying to leave our school to get away from the african americans they are so evil and to think i had a crush on one and dated two of them makes me sick to my stomach
Another thing in my grade is there is another gang but this one is african americans hating whites i dont know what its called cus they try not to be known and i over heard them talking it is really sad what goes on in my grade

my school isn't all that segregated but we only have two african americans out of 500...theres tons of hispanics but 80 percent of the school is white kids....so a lot of them are really racist....I live in a total hick town and a lot of the people are rednecks and hate the hispanics witha passion above all else...I dont really understand it....a lot of the hispanics are really nice people....there are a few bad seeds (gangs) but they dont really do anything...all of the racism in such a small town is a lot to deal with....we also have a fair number of Indians (from India) and after the 9/11 thing there were ahte crimes against them cause of their look....
